♫ Tralalalala ♫

I have a quick little happy and musical post here. 

Firstly I am happy because my son made it to the finals in the school's talentquest {he plays guitar *} so this makes me a very proud Mummie. Secondly I am doing 'Suns and Moons' with the art classes this week, so I see happy sunny faces every day  *} 

 

 And then I finished another little art doll this time with legs (ha !) and the legs I made out of fabric with musical print , so I called her 'Shiri' which means 'song', I can just visualize her sitting on a piano with her legs dangling down *}

just dreaming of good things, like heart shaped clouds and sunny days.....needing that a bit after Monday's events

Sunshine makes things better

Rapanui - Shag Rock

So yesterday was a beautiful sunny day and that makes things so much better.
It was Mothersday and eventhough I don't go crazy for those kind of made-up special days, I did enjoy the breakfast the kids brought me in bed (the one and only day it's not me out first) and we also took a long walk along the beach and had an iceblock before going back home. It certainly cleared my mind. I should go for walks more often.
So today, I am going to clean up the rooms and then I'll be painting, yeah !!
