I can growl, I am a tiger.....>>>>>>GRRRRRR<<<<< what a day ! It started with a failed upload overnight, not understanding why and trying to fix this, then me for some reason loosing access to my youtube channel account and NO WAY of getting back into it........so creating a new one and starting to upload so history etc. in the mean time painting some and getting all ready for Fresco lesson number one.....and more uploading and  getting REALLY frustrated ! with myself mostly....but also I entered a painting into an annual judged art award.......need to bring the painting there on 23 January....ooooooh. exciting !  So I stay determined to get it all done before I'll hit the sack........fingers crossed the upload will succeed now.....xoxo

Zodiac backlog - LIBRA

I am behind with my self imposed Zodiac Challenge !

So this week I suddenly got an idea for the Libra

that was next on my list.

I got inspired by my son's latest crush on

Ang / The Last Airbender

and subsequentially Buddhism.
The weighing off of good and bad - yin and yang etc.
So here it is....

I tried out paletknife painting for the background

together with my special copic markers for the body

I used my Pan Pastels for this one and I cannot tell you how SMOOTH this feels to the touch, those Pan pastels are AMAZING !

I am a Tiger, a Water Tiger to be precise, so I just had to make an entry in my Moleskine for this.

I also want to try some animals instead of pretty faces....it's quite exciting !

Amigurumi sidetrack

A dear friend of mine gave birth to a baby girl (a fellow Aquarius chicky yeah!) She really likes the Amigurumi animals, but does not know how to crochet. So I thought I'll give it a try.

I have crocheted before, but never made an Amigurumi before. I made this Giraffe, what do you think ? Like all things handmade and precious, it takes quite a bit of time.I used Merino babywool, very nice and soft, but maybe I should use cotton next time. I'll do some more Amigurumi's for sure and with my thing for froggies, I would love to do a Frog Prince of course, just for myself to keep...one day, I've got paintings to finish first too.
