First of all, my apologies for the little delay in drawing for this give away...I had a Birthday to celebrate of course and a couple of days with splitting headaches after....(not related but a big pain !) When I grew up in Holland they did not celebrate it much, of course now they do, sell more red roses, chocolates and many other 'loving' ♥ things. Strange, in my opinion we should show our love ALL YEAR long, not just on one day of the year where all prices for all things red and hearts and lovely get hugely inflated, just because..

so I have decided that this Valentine's Day I will have a Give away......YAY !!

Love of Nature

Before I do another post with my latest finished painting (...yes it is coming along soon...) I thought to share this little happy thought with you all. Maybe you remember? I did a post not so long ago about ♥ Heart-shaped ♥  Rocks that I found in the riverbeds in the South Island. This time I was taking the kids for a walk in the area we moved to recently and....we found these clovers with ♥ heart shapes in their leaves, just had to photograph them and take some home to put in my flowerpress ! Mother Nature shares her love in unexpected places, I hope I can find them all, it's almost like a treasure-hunt (just didn't manage to find a 4 leaf clover amongst them all, ah well ;)

Spoiled again

I feel blessed, I really have some very special friends.
Eventhough their "thing" is not really Art, but more Craft like patchwork and quilting, they have made such a grand effort choosing my gifts for my Birthday !
They must have spent hours wondering through the Art supply store and gifted me some beautiful Soft Pastels, crayons, palet knives and a Pan Pastel !!!
All this beautifully packed in a box with chocolate hearts
("you have to have hearts on a Valentines Birthday")
and....there even was a voucher !
for me to choose something off my Art wish list.
So today I went and bought some more Pan Pastel colours and some markers.
Again I feel so spoiled ! but I feel wonderful !
