I wanted to try out this coptic bookbinding for myself, and this is the result.I used watercolour paper and covered the cover with textured paint.
I wanted to make it look a bit old, vintage.
I will still decorate the front and show it again.
The process is really enjoyable and will certainly make more journals/books in the future.

I really like coptic binding instead of that "stitch the signature through the spine" method. This was it's one big block of paper and you just glue the covers right on.
