a Klimt-ish Kiwi

My latest Klimt inspired work, a smaller canvas with the iconic New Zealand native bird the Kiwi. A little different from my previous Klimt, but I always wanted to do birds as well and we have some really funny (interesting, decorative) ones here ;) He was a bit hard to photograph though, I think he looks better in real life

I made this little box for a friend's Birthday,

she likes houses (me too)
It was loads of fun and I really want to make more of those.
I used vintage lace around the roof edge and made each side differently

Frida Kahlo meets Coraline

ATCs I made for a swap with my friend Malin.

I know she likes Frida Kahlo

and maybe because Halloween is slowly creeping onto us

or maybe my mind started wandering for a change...

...so Frida met Coraline...
