Starting small again - Faux Verdigris Aceo

Maybe my block is starting to go away ? Yesterday I managed to make a little ACEO. It's a faux-verdigris Unicorn for a friend, I'll post it today and hope she'll like it. Will get out my paints again too, hopefully my fingers want to listen to my head, hehe. Oh, and I also decided to try and make one of those painted cloth dolls, will need to do some research first though. Any of you have some tips for me?

Dreamy Unicorns

I just finished these three Unicorns for a friend in the UK
(they are on 3x4 inch WC cards ~ slightly larger than ATC's)
She sent me a parcel in the mail this week and it was such a lovely surprise !
It brightened up my day - A bunch of her cards in a box and look at that glass bead!

Fab Frogs

I have a thing for frogs,
I did one in the 'FrogPrince' and in
'Some day my Prince will come'
so when I saw this swap at atcsforall.com,
I just had to join, now didn't I ?
I feel I can keep going with these heart-throbs (hehe)
I mean, I only did the green guys this time, there are so many more I can do...

* Different styles

* Other/more mediums

and I am also working on a book

So that should keep me occupied huh ?

I really like making these little Haiku or Poems with my work now, every time I draw something I find my mind wondering to find words that would go with it.

So this is another combination of ATCs I made for a swap and a little poem to go with them.

I have been a bit disturbed by the Earthquake we had Saturday

and we still have aftershocks regularly throughout the day and night.

I try to get some peace and quiet by making my Art

but I am not always succesful with this

it's a creepy experience

I hope a -once in a lifetime thing- only...

I am trying out this Vintage metal work

or Patina; Quite Rusty, Shiny Things

& Ultimate Verdigris.

I used some bits of a rusty corrigated iron panel and goldleaf and brass and wire.

Faux paint effects to create the verdigris,

loads of fun and still trying more new things.

This one is called "Robot"
